Biography
Caroline Hurd, MD, FACP, FAAHPM is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington and leads the Connections Palliative Care Education Team for Providence Health and Services for the Oregon region. She earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco and completed internal medicine residency and palliative medicine fellowship at the University of Washington. As the Portland Site Director for the UW Graduate Certificate in Palliative Care and a Distinguished Faculty for VitalTalk, Caroline enjoys training the next generation of palliative care professionals. When not working, she spends free moments with her family backpacking and skiing in the pacific northwest.
