Biography
Rainy Sauer, MDiv, BCC located in the Tri-Cities, WA, is currently semi-retired as a spiritual care provider from Chaplaincy Healthcare. After completing a Master of Divinity from St. John’s School of Theology and Seminary in Collegeville, MN and a residency in Clinical Pastoral Education at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN, Rainy was a fellow at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, where she studied medical ethics, working primarily with bone marrow and stem cell transplant patients. She had the fortunate opportunity to work alongside Dr. Stu Farber on his palliative team at the UW Medical Center and was part of Cohort 2 of the UW Graduate Certificate in Palliative Care program. Rainy is proud to continue her work as a facilitator in communication skills with the PCTC and has been trained with Vital Talks. Proud mother and grandmother who loves travel, making wine and practicing yoga, she is looking forward to the next chapter of her life.
