Biography
I was born and raised in the Boise, Idaho area. I am married to my amazing wife Amber (26 years) and we have three, wonderful adult children. I completed my masters of ministry degree From Northwest Nazarene University in 2002. I have been an ordained minister since 2005. I accepted my first hospice chaplain and bereavement coordinator position in Brookings Oregon, in 2005 after completing an extended unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). After returning to the Boise area in 2007, I was hired on to Horizon Home Health and Hospice, where I continue to be employed. I was in the 2019-2020 cohort with the University of Washington's PCTC and continue to be involved as facility. I continue to have a passion for learning and to further assist with nurturing and moving the palliative care banner/approach forward. My hobbies include: lego building, my 1970 mustang, spending time with family, reading, Owyhee County Historical Preservation, watching college and NFL football.
